when the secrets that I keep, pull me down into the deep
I can’t be your savior underwater
when you ask me to believe, when you wear it on your sleeve
I can’t be your savior underwater
I know when I fall, when my back’s up against the wall
I can’t tear the darkness from the light
I know when you go, wherever you will go
I can’t tear the darkness from the light
go...
if you’re drowning let me be your air,
don’t hide your love
when I’ve lost myself again, when I hate the skin I’m in
I can’t be your savior underwater
think of all that we could be, in the end was up to me
I can’t be your savior underwater
when I don’t know what to do, I’m afraid I might have lost you…
I know when I fall, when my back’s up against the wall
I can’t tear the darkness from the light
I know when you go, wherever you will go
I can’t say the words to make this right
go…
if you’re drowning let me be your air
don’t hide your love
go… say the word to make this right
if I could know which way to go, I’d give my life
if I could see what’s meant to be, I’d give my life
Well... Like some people here, I never really liked that song! However, this is *so* much better than the original, for all the reasons already listed by deluded_marxist! The depth of feelings here, especially from the vocals but also the slow music, really is on a whole other level! Thanks to Tara Tantrum for taking me here! Highly recommended!!! bmurator
Shoegaze ist die Kunst des Dröhnens, doch „Everything Is Alive“ setzt diese Elemente nur sparsam ein. Statt Hall- und Zerr-Sounds aufzutürmen, schäumt die Musik in feinen Bläschen über.

New on the excellent label AVANT!, the debut from Plastic Estate is irresistibly shadowy goth pop with dark majesty & grandeur. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 9, 2022
Memories and Comeback Kid were my first introduction to this band. From then on - I've always gone to the Midnight for easy listening. Waiting for a bus - Standing in line - Going grocery shopping and pretty much everywhere and anywhere. You can listen to this track over and over again and I feel like it doesn't get old. solstra
